How much does it cost?

The annual cost of membership is £300 including VAT.  There are no additional costs for breakfast or refreshments.

 

What types of businesses belong to BusinessXchange network?

You can see all current members of BusinessXchange in the member’s directory.  Click through to their website details for further information about individual companies.

 

Can I contact members?

We encourage you to make contact and meet up with members outside the meetings.  This is where strong, in depth relationships evolve. 

 

Why don’t you post member’s email addresses?

In the past, members have been subject to spam emails.  However, you will notice most members have a web address for further information and additional contact details, all listed on our directory page. 

 

Some of the presentation subjects look relevant to staff with specific roles in my company – may others from my company also attend?

Any two people from your company can attend the meetings throughout Dorset. If you would like members of staff to receive regular invitations and the summaries of the sessions, please let us know.

 

How do I know which of the four networks I should join?

You are allocated to a network according to your postcode.  Most new members visit all four networks until such times as find the one that they feel most comfortable in.

 

What happens if I can’t make the meetings?

We will miss you of course, but you will receive a summary of what you missed, including the wicked issues discussed and the content of the presentation.  You are included in all correspondence for the year of membership.

 

Can I come as a guest to more than two meetings, if I am not sure whether BusinessXchange is the right club for me?

No, we invite guests to attend on two occasions at our cost, after which guests have to decide whether to join or not. Unless you decide that the BusinessXchange is not the right networking club for you, you will stay on the mailing list. We encourage you join when the time is right for you.

 

Cash flow is a wicked issue for me at the moment, can I pay by instalments?

Yes, you can pay by direct debit over three consecutive monthly instalments if it helps.  Please contact Laura McHarrie for a DD form which you will need to send in with your membership application.
